Stiles, Taylor & Grace, P.A.- About Us

The firm was founded in Tampa in 1982 by Mary Ann Stiles. Rayford Taylor and Robert Grace joined the firm as shareholders in 1987 and 1997 respectively. Felice Rivers and Jake Smith joined the firm as shareholders in 2004. Arthenia Joyner and Clark Jordan-Holmes joined the firm as shareholders in 2009.

To continue to provide for the needs of our clients throughout Florida, the firm expanded from its Tampa location in 1987 with the opening of an office in Tallahassee. Thereafter, an office was opened in Ft. Lauderdale in 1993, which was then moved to Hollywood. Offices were opened in 1998 in Jacksonville and 2003 in Atlanta, Georgia.

In expanding to meet the changing needs of our clients, the Joyner & Jordan-Holmes law firm, merged with Stiles, Taylor & Grace, P.A. in 2009, and adds to the firm’s representation of governmental entities, businesses, and individuals. Practice areas include a broad range of state and federal litigation proceedings, municipal finance and a variety of services within the context of real estate, probate and business related matters including contract and procurement matters, litigation, and consultation on other matters. The Joyner & Jordan-Holmes firm not only achieved the highest ‘AV’ rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, it also was accorded the Bar Registrants Preeminent Lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell Law for Litigation.

Stiles, Taylor & Grace, P.A. received the highest rating, AV, accorded to law firms by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Martindale-Hubbell has published its ratings for more than 100 years using confidential opinions from members of the bar and the judiciary. The AV rating (based strictly on opinions expressed by confidential sources) is derived from legal ability and standards in ethics, reliability, and diligence.

Most importantly, the firm has been accorded the Bar Registrants Preeminent Lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell Law for Workers' Compensation Law. This "lists only the most distinguished law practices - those that have achieved the highest 'AV' rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory." This rating is the result of a peer review system based on confidential opinions of practicing attorneys and members of the judiciary.
