Arthenia L. Joyner received both her law degree and undergraduate degrees from Florida A&M University. She has been a member of the Florida State Senate, District 18 since 2006 and formerly served in the Florida House of Representatives, 2000-2006.
Joyner was a founding partner of Joyner & Jordan-Holmes which merged with Stiles, Taylor & Grace, P.A. on August 1, 2009. She is now a shareholder in the firm.
Joyner is currently a member of the Florida Bar; Hillsborough County Bar Association; George E. Edgecomb Bar Association; National Bar Association; National Association of Bond Lawyers; Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter of the National Bar Association; Florida Association of Women Lawyers, the the Board of Trustees of University Community Hospital (2000-2006).
