Ms. Perdue is a
shareholder and manages the firm’s Tallahassee office.
Ms. Perdue received
a law degree from Stetson University in 1997. Ms. Perdue focuses her
legal practice on workers compensation defense and is a registered
lobbyist. She has lobbied on behalf of employers and carriers for
workers’ compensation reform throughout the past 5 years. She has
authored several on workers’ compensation, premises liability, and
employment issues. She frequently speaks to employers and business
groups to discuss the impact of legislation on their business activities
and bottom line.
Prior to attending
law school, she began developing a legislative career with the Florida
Senate in 1992. She has worked with the Senate Majority Office, Rule
Committee and the Committee on Ethics, Elections and Executive Business.
Ms. Perdue is a
member of the Florida Bar, Appointee to Editorial Board of The Florida
Bar Journal and News, Workers Compensation Section, Young Lawyers
Section; Tallahassee Bar Association; National Association of Women
Lawyers; Florida Association of Women Lawyers; Tallahassee Women
Lawyers; Friends of 440 Scholarship Committee; Tallahassee Claims
Association and volunteers with the Legal Aid Foundation of Leon County.
