His present community involvement includes his service as the Chair, Character Development of Tampa Bay; Chair of the Leadership Tampa Alumni’s Philanthropy in Action Committee; Board of Directors for Leadership Tampa Alumni and membership in Leadership Florida. His past service includes the Executive Committee & Board, Metropolitan Ministries and the Executive Committee and Board, Patel Foundation for Global Understanding and Chair of Tampa Habitat for Humanity.
Jordan-Holmes helped publish articles by the Federal Transit Administration’s, TCRP Legal Research Digest which include: Strategies to Facilitate Acquisition and Use of Right of Way; Transit Labor Protection – A Guide to 13 (c) Federal Transit Act; The Zoning and Real Estate Implications of Transit-Oriented Development; Impact of the Americans with Disabilities Act on Transit Operations; Transit Bus Stops – Ownership, Liability, and Access. The ten legal studies in progress include: Application of Physical Abilities to Current Workforce of Transit; Legal Handbook for the New Starts Process; and Transit Oriented Development and Joint Development Case Studies and Legal Issues.
Articles authored or co-authored by Mr. Jordan-Holmes include: "Drug Free Workplace Statutes, Double Trouble?", Lawyer HCBA; "Products Liability: Annual Survey of Recent Developments", Torts and Insurance Law Journal, American Bar Association; "Asbestos Property Damage Cases: Has the Statute Run?" For the Defense (DRI Monthly Journal).
His primary areas of practice are Government Law, Transactions and Litigation. He has been the firm’s lead counsel in Lien Enforcement since the firm was created. He also serves as General Counsel for the Hillsborough Transit Authority and as lead counsel for the representation of the Florida Education Fund and the Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance.
