John E. Hankal, Associate

He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar, Workers' Compensation and Appellate Practice Sections. He is a Supreme Court Certified Mediator for Circuit and County Courts.

John E. Hankal attended the University of North Carolina, Stetson University and received a Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1970.

Prior to joining Stiles, Taylor & Grace, P.A. in 2001, he practiced with a firm in Orlando primarily in the area of workers' compensation defense, and he has served as an adjunct mediator. Hankal previously served as County Court Judge in St. Johns County, assistant county attorney in Volusia County and was in private practice in St. Augustine. He also served as house counsel to a third party administrator of workers' compensation self-insurer's funds in Florida, Lousiana and Oklahoma.
