Jack A. Weiss received his B.A. in Political Science (1987), J.D. with honors (1990), and LL.M. in Taxation (1992) from the University of Florida.
Mr. Weiss served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Bobby W. Gunther on Florida's Fourth District Court of Appeal in 1992-1993. His practice since then has focused on workers’ compensation defense, throughout all phases of trial and appellate litigation.
In 2007 Mr. Weiss joined the law firm of Stiles, Taylor & Grace, P.A., after 14 years with two of Florida's largest law firms.
Mr. Weiss has been a Board Certified Attorney in Workers’ Compensation since 2000. In addition to the Florida Bar, he is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the St. Petersburg Bar Association where he has served on the Board of Directors, as Budget & Finance Committee Chairman, and as Treasurer.
He has also been involved with the Defense Research Institute and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, having served the latter as Chairman of the Workers' Compensation Committee. He is a Florida Department of Insurance Certified Instructor and has lectured and written on a wide variety of topics.
