Karen C.D. Gabbadon received her law degree from the University of Florida in 1993, and was the Senior Editor for the UMOJA Law Journal. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Florida.
Prior to joining Stiles, Taylor & Grace, P.A., she was a partner with the law firm
Joyner & Jordan-Holmes, which merged with Stiles, Taylor & Grace, P.A. on August 1, 2009.
She is a member of the Florida Bar; Hillsborough County Bar; George E. Edgecomb Bar Association, United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, The District of Columbia Bar, National Bar Association, Virgil Hawkins Chapter of the National Bar Association, National Association of Bond Lawyers, and the American Public Transit Association, Legal Affairs Committee.
She is on the Florida Bar Real Property Probate Trust Law Executive Council, and was the Chair, Grievance Committee “13-D”, Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County, FL from (2006-2009).
Her primary areas of practice are Lien Enforcement, Municipal Finance, Procurement and Probate. She serves as the key attorney for Lien Collections for various local governments, as the procurement and transactional counsel for the Hillsborough Transit Authority and co-bond counsel for Hillsborough County Aviation Authority.
