Mary E. Henderson, Associate
Mary E. Henderson received her law degree from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law Center in 2001, a Bachelors of Art Degree in Criminal and Social Justice from Lewis University in 1990, and an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from the College of DuPage in 1988. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002 and to the Tennessee Bar in 2007.
Her practice areas include Workers’ Compensation, Foreclosure, Labor and Employment Law, Banking Law, Debtor/Creditor Law, Family Law, Medicare and Medicaid, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and Title VII. Mary formerly served as a Workers’ Compensation Specialist for the State of Tennessee Department of
Labor and Workforce Development. As a Workers’ Compensation Specialist her role was to resolve/arbitrate the question of compensability, conduct benefit review conferences and to review and approve or reject proposed settlement agreements in disputed cases.
She maintains membership with the Florida Bar, the Tennessee Bar Association, Trial Lawyers of America, Florida Association of Women Lawyers and the Nashville Bar Association. Mary is an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law Center.
She and her husband Bob have been married for 19 years and have twin daughters, Courtney and Caitlin. Her community interests include non-for-profit fund raising, Children’s Reading Programs, youth soccer, and the 4-H Equestrian Club.
