Rayford
H. Taylor received a law degree in 1974 from Florida State University. He is
a member of the Florida Bar and the State Bar of Georgia, and practices in
the areas of legislative consultation, administrative and governmental law,
appellate practice and workers' compensation.
He joined Stiles, Taylor & Grace, P.A. as a shareholder in 1987 to manage
the firm's first branch office in Tallahassee, Florida, and currently manages
the firm's Atlanta office. He had been affiliated with The Florida Bar for more
than 12 yrs where he served as its general counsel, legislative counsel and staff
attorney.
Taylor is admitted to practice before the United States Eleventh Circuit
Court of Appeals, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United
States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the United
States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, the
Supreme Court of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Florida, and the Georgia Court
of Appeals.
He currently is the treasurer of the National Workers' Compensation Defense
Network (NWCDN). He has served as the chair of the Practice Management and
Technology Section of the Florida Bar, and the Law Office Management Advisory
Service (LOMAS). Taylor also served on the Solo and Small Firm Practitioner
Task Force of the Florida Bar for three years. He has also been active in
the American Bar Association, where he has served on the Committee on Specialization.
Additionally, he has held several offices, including chairman for the Governmental
